It is so stunning, amazing, fascinating and beautiful…. A symbol of the town of Calpe, our great PEÑON DE IFACH. You will have a very, very satisfying experience.  At first sight it seems difficult and almost unreachable, but as you climb, there are so many beautiful views that you will feel an adrenaline rush inside you that will keep you moving forward through the trails. The first stage, which is easy and starts from the main entrance to the tunnel, is of a minimum difficulty, although you’ll have to be careful because the stones are a bit slippery, but there are chains at the ends that you can hold on to and go through without any problem. From here the path is more rocky and you will find some cliffs but you can cross them without any problem with the help of chains in the form of rails that are in the most difficult places.  The vegetation will accompany us in this section and we will see the palmetto, lavender, pines etc. The good views of the Mediterranean on clear days, make it possible to see the island of Formentera, Ibiza and the cape of San Antonio de Jávea. As you get to the top, you will have many birds welcoming you, especially the yellow-legged gulls, the gannet, Eleonora’s falcon, the peregrine falcon and the pale swift.the distance is approximately 4.5 km.the duration, about 2.5 hours to 3 hours.the difficulty, from easy to moderately difficult, with good signs.
