One of the most beautiful Stand Up Paddle Surf routes on the Costa Blanca, is undoubtedly from cala Granadella to the caves at Cabo La Nao.

the very famous Cala Granadella in the well-known coastal town of Javea, called Xabia in Valencian, is full of lovers of beautiful coves on fine days

the beach consists of stones and gravel, so you should wear shoes accordingly

you can’t park near the beach, unload and then park either behind the village or more likely on the newly created serpentine road – can be quite exhausting on hot days!

The fact that for some years now it has been forbidden to enter the caves with noisy jet skis or boats gives us nature lovers who travel with kayaks or stand up paddles an extra plus!

Along the way there are magnificent views of the enormous Cumbre del Sol housing estate of the neighbouring village of Benitachell, and further south you can see as far as the Cap d Or of Moraira and behind the Peñon de Ifach from Calpe!

To the north you can see the imposing lighthouse of Cabo la Nao.

We can also recommend the rice dishes in the only restaurant in Cala Granadella, because what could be better than sitting in the garden with friends, drinking a few cold beers or a delicious red wine, and enjoying the cuisine of the Costa Blanca!

So do yourself a favour, book a SUP tour with us or one of our colleagues, and enjoy an unforgettable day in Spain.
