A mountain range located near the Mediterranean coast and oriented perpendicular to it, surprising for its rugged terrain in the form of sawtooth. We begin in Bernia Villas, next to the restaurant with the same name.

Climb the north face, past the fountain Bernia or to Cabanes called “Forat” a tunnel dug into the rock that will give us access to the south side, from which we obtain new and impressive panoramas, and spend squatting 15 mts.
Then on to the ruins of Fort Bernia, orderly Renaissance military fortress built by Philip II in 1562, in order to defend the coast from attack by the Ottomans.
Then we begin the ascent to the summit of Bernia, hard climb in which we will climb on occasion, but without great technical difficulty (SI, for those with vertigo). The effort to climb to its highest point: 1129 m, will be rewarded by the majestic views of all sides. Finally, we descend to the same place and then continue along the PR and complete circular lodges Bernia Route. The route is recommended only for people who regularly go to the mountain.
