The annual fair will take place in Cocentaina from the 29th October to the 1st November 2016. The fair is known in Spanish as the Fira de Tots Sants, which directly translates to the Fair of All the Saints. It will be the 670th edition of this massive fair, which has been declared as being of National Tourist Interest and is extremely popular with over 800 stalls and half a million visitors.
Take a look at the map below to see the various sections. There is the traditional funfair with all of the fast rides as well as all types of products; from horses to cars, household items to shoes and toys to locally produced wine. It is most famous for its focus on traditional crafts such as metal work, lace making, embroidery, jewellery making, painting, soap making, glass blowing, pottery and candle making just to name a few!
There are many activities and exhibitions, remember to collect a map from any of the 15 information stands. If you are visiting on Saturday the 29th make sure you see the Official Opening ceremony at 10:30 in the Plaza del Pia when the speech is delivered to the balcony of the town hall by a bird of Prey!
There is a also a map of the carparks, you can use any of the green ones. For parking area 10 there is a shuttle bus to transport you to the centre of Cocentaina.
