Mountain hiking in the Sierra de Bernia in Spain

The Sierra de Bernia is a great hiking area on the Costa Blanca, a total of 4 villages, Benissa, LLiber, Jalon and Altea share the mountain range

This hike starts on the north side in Benissa and goes around the mountain massif

The highlight is the passage from north to south, the so-called FORAT DE BERNIA

further we come to the FORT DE BERNIA, before we go back to the starting point on the western flank, where the restaurants for paella eating are located

With a brisk walk we can complete the round in 3.5 – 4 hours, a break included
