FIRA CALP CELEBRATES ITS TENTH ANNIVERSARY WITH MORE EXHIBITORS AND MORE TAPAS
\nFira Calp, the gastronomy and commerce fair of the city of El Pe\u00f1\u00f3n, celebrates its tenth edition, which will take place from 24th to 27th May in the Plaza Mayor. And it does so with a greater number of exhibitors and tapas and with the participation of the Fishermen’s Guild and the 2018 Festivals Committee.<\/p>\n

This year the fair will have 17 stands for restaurants, caf\u00e9s and cocktail bars and also reinforces its commercial side with the participation of 11 shops that will exhibit their products.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, hoteliers will offer a greater number of tapas, between four and five per stand, compared to the three previous editions, which will be offered at popular prices, from 1 to 4 euros. The Fishermen’s Guild, for its part, will present at the fair, in addition to the traditional Peix de Calp, a novel product made with seafood ingredients such as sausage and octopus and drum burgers.<\/p>\n

For the first time, the 2018 Festivals Commission has been invited to participate in Fira Calp, to sell the drink: beer, soft drinks and water; the profits they make will go towards the organisation of this year’s festivities; the wine will be provided by each hotelier who will offer a different winery.<\/p>\n

There will also be parallel activities such as concerts, culinary demonstrations, children’s entertainment and an exhibition of hybrid vehicles. In addition, a giant screen is planned for Saturday 26th May for the Champions Real Madrid – Liverpool final.<\/p>\n
